Executive Officer Grade III (A.P. Endowments Sub Service)
1. About the Post
The Andhra Pradesh Endowments Department periodically recruits Executive Officers (GradeIII) to manage its extensive network of temples, trusts and religious institutions. The officers assist in administration, finance, records, and implementation of government policies related to endowments.
2. Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Indian
- Age: 2134 years (relaxable as per government rules)
- Education: Bachelors degree from a recognized university (any discipline)
- Physical Standards: As prescribed for GroupC posts
3. Recruitment Scheme
The selection process consists of two stages a Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview. The entire procedure is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
3.1 Written Examination

3.2 Personal Interview
The interview carries 100 marks and evaluates candidates on communication, analytical ability, knowledge of endowment administration, and personality traits required for a supervisory role.
3.3 Selection Procedure
- Screening of applications and verification of eligibility.
- Admit card issuance for the written exam.
- Conduct of the written exam at designated centers.
- Publishing of merit list based on total written marks.
- Shortlisting of candidates for interview (typically top 5060%).
- Final merit list prepared on the basis of (WrittenMarks0.6)+(InterviewMarks0.4).

5. Preparation Tips
- Refer to the latest NCERT textbooks for History, Geography, Polity and Economy.
- Read a reputable currentaffairs magazine (e.g., Yojana, Kurukshetra) weekly.
- Practice previous years APPSC papers and mock tests under timed conditions.
- Strengthen English basics with grammar workbooks and daily reading.
- Work on speed and accuracy for quantitative problems; maintain a formula sheet.
- Join a study group or online forum for discussion of tricky reasoning questions.

7. How to Apply
Applications are submitted online through the official APPSC portal. The steps are:
- Register on the portal and obtain a login ID.
- Fill in personal, educational and employment details.
- Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, DOB proof and certificates (PDF, max 200KB each).
- Pay the application fee (INR500) via net banking/creditcard.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation receipt.
All applicants will receive an email and SMS with a unique application number for reference.
