Our Mission

The Yale Pediatric Global Health Track is dedicated to developing pediatric leaders who will transform child health outcomes worldwide. Our mission is to train residents with the knowledge, skills, and perspective to address disparities in pediatric health through clinical excellence, research advancement, and advocacy for vulnerable populations across the globe.

We recognize that improving global child health requires understanding the complex interplay between healthcare systems, social determinants of health, cultural contexts, and economic realities. Program Overview

The Pediatric Global Health Track is a specialized educational pathway designed for pediatric residents committed to addressing global child health disparities. Residents typically apply to the track during their first year and participate throughout their residency training. This longitudinal approach allows for deep engagement with global health concepts and sustained relationships with international partners.
