The Vermont Shires Connector (VSC) is a statewide publicprivate initiative that provides reliable, affordable, and environmentally friendly transportation between the many small towns, villages, and rural areas that make up Vermonts shires. Launched in 2022, VSC combines scheduled bus services, ondemand shuttles, and a mobile app that lets riders plan trips, purchase tickets, and receive realtime updates.
VSC was created in response to three core challenges:
