Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Vocational Stream Scheme of Studies
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) introduced a dedicated Vocational Stream for classes XI and XII to bridge the gap between school education and industry requirements. The scheme offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enabling students to acquire employable competencies right after higher secondary school. It is designed for students who wish to pursue a technical or professional career without following the conventional academic streams.
The Vocational Stream is a twoyear programme (Class XI + Class XII) divided into eight semesters. Each semester comprises a set of core vocational subjects, a language component, and a compulsory lifeskill module.
