Introduction
Welcome to AP Calculus BC! This rigorous course covers all topics in AP Calculus AB plus additional concepts, making it equivalent to two semesters of college calculus. To ensure you're prepared for the rich mathematical challenges ahead, this summer work is designed to strengthen your foundational knowledge and refresh key concepts from your previous mathematics courses.
Completing this summer work will allow us to move quickly through review material at the beginning of the school year and spend more time on the advanced BC-specific topics. The material should be completed before the first day of class, with all problems worked out clearly.
Purpose of Summer Work
The summer work serves several important purposes:
