The Victoria University Graduation Program 2021 represents a milestone in our institution's history as we celebrate the resilience, determination, and outstanding achievements of our graduating class. Despite the challenges presented by the global pandemic, our remarkable students have persevered and demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, research capabilities, and leadership potential.


This year's graduation ceremonies honor graduates across our diverse faculties including Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Arts, Education, Law, and Science. Each graduate has worked diligently to reach this moment, and we are proud to recognize their accomplishments as they transition to their next phase of life and career.

Jennifer Adams

Jennifer Adams - Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours)

Jennifer's research on novel biomarkers for early detection of neurodegenerative diseases has been published in three prestigious journals and has attracted significant interest from pharmaceutical companies.

"Victoria University provided me with world-class research facilities and mentorship that allowed me to pursue my passion for neuroscience. The research skills I've developed will serve me well as I begin my PhD at Cambridge University."

Marcus Chen

Marcus Chen - Bachelor of Software Engineering (First Class Honours)

Marcus developed an innovative AI-powered accessibility tool during his final year project, which helps visually impaired users navigate digital environments more effectively. He has received a patent for his invention.

"The supportive environment at VU encouraged me to use technology for social good. I'm grateful to my professors who believed in my vision and helped me turn a simple concept into a solution with real-world impact."

Aisha Patel

Aisha Patel - Bachelor of Laws (Honours)

Aisha's dedication to human rights advocacy led to the establishment of a legal aid clinic serving marginalized communities. She was awarded the University Medal for Humanitarian Service.

"My experience at VU taught me that law is a powerful tool for social change. The practical legal training and emphasis on ethical responsibility have prepared me to serve communities that need legal representation the most."

Samuel Osei

Samuel Osei - Master of Business Administration

Samuel, who balanced full-time employment with his studies, developed a sustainable business model for small enterprises in developing countries that has been implemented by several NGOs operating in Africa.

"VU's MBA program equipped me with both theoretical knowledge and practical business acumen. The diverse perspectives of my cohort and professors enriched my learning experience and broadened my global outlook."

Emily Rodriguez

Emily Rodriguez - Bachelor of Fine Arts (Creative Writing)

Emily's poetry collection, exploring themes of identity and cultural heritage, won the National Emerging Writers Prize and will be published later this year by a major publishing house.

"The creative writing program at VU encouraged me to find my authentic voice. The workshops and feedback from established writers helped me refine my craft and develop the confidence to share my work with a wider audience."

COVID-19 Safety Measures

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees, Victoria University has implemented comprehensive health protocols in accordance with public health guidelines. We are committed to delivering a memorable graduation experience while maintaining the highest standards of protection.


Key Safety Measures:

  • All ceremonies will operate at reduced capacity to allow for physical distancing
  • Ceremonies will be livestreamed for graduates and guests unable to attend in person
  • Mask requirements will be observed in all indoor spaces
  • Enhanced cleaning protocols will be implemented throughout all venues
  • Touchless ticketing and program distribution will be utilized
  • Seating arrangements will maintain appropriate physical distances
  • Temperature screening stations will be available at venue entrances
  • Graduates will be provided with face masks designed to complement their academic regalia
  • Receptions will feature individually packaged refreshments
  • Professional photography will be available in physically distanced arrangements

We appreciate your cooperation in following these safety guidelines to ensure a safe and celebratory experience for all members of our university community.

Graduation Information

Academic Regalia

All graduating students are required to wear appropriate academic regalia during the ceremony. Gown rental services will be available at the venue on each ceremony day. Students must present their student ID for gown collection and return.


Collection Times: 1-2 hours prior to your ceremony

Collection Location: Gown Distribution Hall, Lower Level, Convention Center

Guest Tickets

Each graduating student is allocated two guest tickets due to capacity restrictions. Additional tickets may be available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be requested through the graduation portal. Guest tickets will be delivered electronically two weeks before the ceremony date.


Guest Entry: Gates open 45 minutes before ceremony commencement

Seating: Unreserved; guests should arrive early to secure preferred seating

Photography Services

Professional photography services will be available before and after ceremonies. Students can pre-book portrait sessions through the graduation website or visit the photography stations on a first-come basis. A complimentary digital portrait and ceremony photo will be provided to all graduates.


Premium Packages: Available for purchase with special graduate discounts

Photo Delivery: Digital files will be available within 48 hours of the ceremony

Special Requirements

We are committed to ensuring that all graduates and guests can fully participate in the graduation ceremonies. Accessibility services, including wheelchair access, sign language interpretation, and other accommodations, can be requested through the graduation portal at least two weeks before your ceremony.
