Responsibilities:

  • Following approved procedures for radiation use
  • Wearing appropriate protective equipment and monitoring devices
  • Minimizing radiation exposure through proper techniques

Occasional Users

Occasional Users are personnel who may have limited exposure to radiation sources as part of their duties but do not routinely work with radiation materials or equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Recognizing radiation warning signs and postings

Training Requirements

All personnel working with or around radiation sources must complete appropriate training based on their classification and specific work duties.

Radiation Safety Officer Training
