About the University College of Business

The University College of Business (UCB) in Prague is a private, internationally accredited institution dedicated to providing highquality business education in the heart of Central Europe. Founded in 1991, UCB combines Western teaching methods with a deep understanding of the Czech and broader European business environments. The colleges mission is to develop future leaders who can navigate a complex, globalized economy while acting responsibly and ethically.

Bachelor Degrees

Admissions & Scholarships

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a recognized secondary school diploma (for bachelor programmes) or an undergraduate degree (for master programmes). Proficiency in English is demonstrated by IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 80, or an equivalent qualification.

Application Process

1. Complete the online application form.
2. Upload academic transcripts, passport copy, and English language proof.
3. Submit a personal statement (500800 words) describing career goals and motivation.
4. Provide two academic or professional references.
5. Pay the nonrefundable application fee of 80.

Selection Criteria

Admissions committees evaluate academic performance, English proficiency, personal statement quality, and relevant experience. Competitive programmes such as the MBA may also require a short interview.

Scholarships

• MeritBased Scholarship Up to 30% tuition reduction for topscoring applicants.
• International Student Grant 2,000 for students from nonEU countries.

All scholarships are renewable provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
