About the Better With Breakfast Program
The United Way Better With Breakfast (BWB) program provides nutritious breakfasts to children and families who face food insecurity. Launched in 2015, the initiative collaborates with schools, community centers, and local businesses to ensure that no child starts the day hungry.
- Provide a healthy morning meal to at least 10,000 children each school year.
- Improve students concentration, attendance, and overall academic performance.
- Strengthen community ties through volunteerism and local sponsorship.
- Raise awareness about the hidden hunger that exists in our neighborhoods.
Breakfast is more than food; it is an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow. By delivering a balanced mealprotein, whole grains, fruits, and dairyBWB gives children the energy they need to focus, participate, and succeed.
