Signature Programs

1. The Wellington Inquiry Initiative

Launched in 2018, this initiative invites students to identify local or global problems, formulate research questions, and present solutions at an annual symposium. Participants receive seed funding, faculty mentorship, and media exposure.

2. Community Connect (ServiceLearning)

All firstyear students complete a minimum of 30 hours of service in partnership with local NGOs. Reflection essays link practice to theory, reinforcing civic responsibility.

3. Digital Scholars Lab

A collaborative space equipped with VR headsets, 3D printers, and datavisualisation tools. Students from any discipline can prototype projects, fostering interdisciplinary creativity.

Impact & Outcomes

Since the formal engagement framework was introduced, Wellington has recorded measurable improvements across several indicators:
