Block Lecture Program

These include full travel grants covering international airfare and local transportation, accommodation allowances for visiting scholars, living stipends for research exchanges exceeding one month, departmental funding for academic materials and resources, special grants for scholars from developing countries, and research project seed funding for collaborative initiatives.

Bilateral and Multilateral Agreements

Many of our exchange programs operate within framework agreements with partner institutions worldwide, which may include waived tuition and accommodation fees for visiting scholars, reciprocal exchange agreements, consortium funding opportunities, government-sponsored academic mobility schemes, and European Union Erasmus+ and similar international programs.

Application Process

1. Expression of Interest: Prospective visitors submit an initial expression of interest outlining their proposed activities, preferred timing, and potential collaborating departments or faculty members.
2. Formal Application: Once a potential collaboration is identified, candidates submit a formal application including detailed proposal of teaching or research activities, curriculum vitae highlighting relevant expertise and qualifications, statement of objectives and expected outcomes, letters of recommendation from institutional authorities, and proposed timeline and duration of the exchange.
3. Review Process: Applications undergo a thorough review by the relevant academic department, International Affairs Office, and Exchange Program Committee based on academic merit, feasibility, alignment with institutional priorities, and potential for long-term collaboration.
4. Formal Invitation and Arrangements: Successful applicants receive a formal invitation specifying the terms and conditions of the exchange. Our International Affairs Office assists with visa arrangements, accommodation, campus orientation, and other logistical preparations.
5. Program Implementation: Upon arrival, visitors receive an orientation program and ongoing support throughout their stay. Regular check-ins with program coordinators help address emerging needs and ensure exchange objectives are being met effectively.
6. Program Evaluation and Follow-up: At the conclusion of the exchange, visitors and host departments participate in a formal evaluation process to assess outcomes and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
