Program Overview
The Sejong Korean Scholars Program (SKSP) is a prestigious initiative sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs in partnership with Korean universities, cultural centers, and private foundations. Its primary goal is to foster a new generation of global leaders who possess deep knowledge of Korean language, culture, politics, and economics, and who can serve as bridges between Korea and the rest of the world.
Students selected for SKSP receive full scholarships to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies at leading Korean institutions, as well as immersion activities such as internships, research projects, and cultural exchanges. The program emphasizes academic excellence, leadership potential, and a genuine interest in contributing to Koreas international outreach.
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Applicants must be nonKorean nationals holding citizenship of any country.
- Age: For undergraduate tracks, candidates should be 1723 years old; for graduate tracks, 2130 years old.
- Academic Standing: Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.
- Language Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 80 or IELTS 6.5; Korean language skill is not required at entry but encouraged.
- Commitment: Applicants must intend to reside in Korea for the full duration of the scholarship.

Application Process
1. Online Application Form

- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS score report).

3. Video Interview
