Delivering Excellence in Rubber Component ManufacturingPrecision Rubber Molding
From concept to delivery, we provide precision-engineered rubber solutions for industries worldwide
Precision Rubber Molding has been a leader in the rubber manufacturing industry for over three decades. Founded in 1985, our company began as a small operation dedicated to producing high-quality rubber seals for local industrial applications. Today, we have evolved into a comprehensive rubber molding solution provider serving customers across the globe.
Our 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility houses state-of-the-art equipment and employs a team of experienced engineers and technicians who are passionate about rubber technology. We pride ourselves on our technical expertise, quality control systems, and customer-focused approach that has earned us the trust of industry-leading companies worldwide.
What sets us apart is our commitment to understanding the unique requirements of each project. Whether you need a single prototype or millions of production units, we provide the same level of attention to detail and quality assurance. Our expertise spans from automotive-grade components to medical-grade parts that meet the most stringent regulatory requirements.
At Precision Rubber Molding, we offer a comprehensive range of molding techniques to accommodate different part geometries, materials, and production requirements:
Compression molding is our primary method for medium-volume production runs. This cost-effective process involves placing pre-formed rubber blanks into a heated mold cavity that is then closed under pressure. Compression molding offers excellent material utilization and dimensional stability, making it ideal for larger, less complex components such as gaskets and bushings.
Our compression molding equipment includes presses ranging from 50 to 500 tons capacity, allowing us to produce parts from small O-rings to large industrial seals in single and multi-cavity configurations.
Transfer molding bridges the gap between compression and injection molding. In this process, rubber material is placed in a transfer pot and then forced through runners into the mold cavities. This technique provides excellent control over part dimensions and is particularly suitable for components with metal inserts or complex geometries.
Our transfer molding capabilities enable the production of intricate parts with tight tolerances while maintaining the cost advantages of compression methods for medium volumes. This process results in minimal flash and superior dimensional consistency.
Injection molding represents the most automated and efficient rubber manufacturing method for high-volume production. Our state-of-the-art injection molding machines heat rubber to a precise temperature and inject it into closed molds under high pressure. This process delivers exceptional dimensional accuracy, consistency, and material efficiency.
With injection molding capabilities ranging from 50 to 300 tons, we produce millions of precision parts annually. This method is ideal for complex geometries, multi-cavity production, and applications requiring the highest level of dimensional control.
LSR molding is a specialized process that uses two-component liquid silicone rubber injected into a heated mold. This technology offers exceptional advantages for medical, food-grade, and other applications requiring biocompatibility or extreme temperature resistance.
Our LSR molding capabilities include precision dosing systems and automated production equipment, ensuring consistent material properties and part quality. This process is ideal for complex, thin-walled parts and applications requiring high purity materials.
Our rubber components serve critical functions across numerous industries, providing reliability, durability, and performance where it matters most:
From engine seals and suspension bushings to weatherstripping and vibration dampeners, our automotive components meet stringent performance requirements. We are certified to IATF 16949 automotive quality standards and supply to major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide.
Our ISO 13485 certified medical-grade rubber components include seals for medical devices, components for drug delivery systems, and biocompatible parts for surgical equipment. Each medical component is manufactured in cleanroom environments with full traceability.
Aerospace applications demand components that perform reliably under extreme conditions. Our rubber sealing solutions for aircraft systems withstand temperature extremes, pressure differentials, and exposure to aviation fluids. All aerospace components are produced according to AS9100 quality requirements.
Our specialized rubber compounds and molding processes create downhole seals, valves, and gaskets that resist harsh chemical environments, extreme pressures, and high temperatures encountered in oil and gas exploration and production.
From connectors and keypads to protective seals and insulators, our rubber components provide essential functions in electronic devices. We offer materials with electrical conductivity, EMI shielding properties, and resistance to environmental factors.
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems rely on our precision seals and gaskets for reliable performance. We produce components that withstand industrial chemicals, pressure extremes, and demanding mechanical stresses across diverse industrial applications.
Our extensive rubber materials knowledge enables us to select the optimal elastomer for each application's specific requirements. We work with all major rubber compounds and can develop custom formulations as needed:
Quality is the foundation of our business and a cornerstone of our culture. Our comprehensive quality management system incorporates the following elements:
