The University Examination Board is pleased to announce the results for the Master of Arts (MA) in Sociology Entrance Examination for the academic session 2024-2025. Candidates who appeared for the test can now access their results and merit status through this official portal.

How to Access Your Detailed Scorecard

To view your individual marks, section-wise performance, and percentile rank, please log in to the candidate dashboard using your Application ID and Date of Birth. The scorecard will be available for download in PDF format for the next 15 days.

Merit List and Cut-off Marks

The selection process was conducted based on a rigorous evaluation of sociological theory, research methodology, and contemporary social issues. The following cut-off criteria were applied to finalize the current merit list:

Next Steps for Qualified Candidates

Candidates who have secured a position in the merit list must complete the following steps to secure their seat:

• Document Verification: Candidates are required to report to the Sociology Department office with their original academic transcripts, caste certificates (if applicable), and identity proof.
• Counseling Session: All shortlisted candidates must attend the compulsory orientation and document verification session scheduled for next week. Failure to appear will result in the forfeiture of the seat.
• Fee Submission: Once documents are verified, candidates will receive an automated link to pay the admission fee online. The seat will only be confirmed upon the successful receipt of payment.

Re-evaluation and Grievances

If a candidate believes there has been a discrepancy in the calculation of their scores, they may submit a formal request for re-evaluation within 48 hours of this announcement. Please note that requests submitted after the deadline will not be entertained. All grievances should be directed to the Examination Helpdesk via the registered email address.

Admission Policy

Admission to the MA Sociology program is provisional and subject to the final verification of qualifying examination degree certificates. The University reserves the right to cancel the admission of any candidate found to have provided incorrect information during the application process.
