Phlebotomy Technician Program

Launch Your Healthcare Career with Specialized Training

About Phlebotomy

Phlebotomy is the practice of drawing blood from patients for clinical or medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research purposes. As essential members of healthcare teams, phlebotomists ensure that blood specimens are collected safely, efficiently, and with minimal discomfort to patients. Our comprehensive Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares students for this critical healthcare role through hands-on training and theoretical knowledge.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of phlebotomists is projected to grow 22% from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all occupations. This growth is driven by an aging population requiring more medical services and increased need for blood analysis.

Program Overview

Our Phlebotomy Technician Program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to become certified phlebotomists in just 12 weeks. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with laboratory practice and clinical rotations at local healthcare facilities, ensuring graduates are fully prepared for entry-level positions.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to sit for national certification examinations, including those offered by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
