About the School

Navy Children School (NCS) Visakhapatnam is a premier institution managed by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Established in 1990, the school is situated in the scenic neighbourhood of Saraidela, Visakhapatnam, and serves the educational needs of children of Navy personnel as well as civilians from the surrounding community. Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), NCS Visakhapatnam follows a rigorous academic curriculum while fostering a strong sense of discipline, patriotism, and holistic development.

Admission Process

Admission is open to all eligible candidates, with priority given to children of Navy personnel. The process is transparent and follows the guidelines laid down by the CBSE and the Ministry of Defence.

Required documents include birth certificate, domicile proof, previous school certificates, and a recent passportsize photograph. An entrance test is conducted for Class I onward.
