Program Overview

The MSc International Public Health Nutrition equips students with the interdisciplinary skills needed to develop, implement, and evaluate nutrition interventions on a global scale. The curriculum blends epidemiology, food policy, behavioural science, and research methods, allowing graduates to work across governmental agencies, NGOs, research institutes and the private sector.

Admission Requirements

We welcome applicants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Minimum requirements include:

  • A UK firstclass or upper secondclass honours degree (or international equivalent) in nutrition, dietetics, public health, biology, economics, sociology or a related discipline.
  • Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in each component) for nonnative speakers.
  • Relevant work experience (preferably 12 months) in public health, nutrition, community development or research is strongly recommended.
  • Two professional references, one academic and one from an employer or supervisor.

Applicants must submit a 500word personal statement outlining their motivation, career aspirations and how the programme aligns with their goals.

Application deadline: 30April for September intake; 31October for January intake.
