Submission Process

Authors who wish to submit a manuscript to JEPA should follow these steps:

1. Manuscript preparation: Use the journals template (available on the website) and adhere to the APA 7th edition citation style.
2. Create an account: Register on the online submission system, JEMS (Journal Editorial Management System).
3. Upload files: Submit the main text, an abstract of no more than 250 words, keywords (36), and any supplementary material (e.g., datasets, tables).
4. Cover letter: Include a brief statement outlining the contribution of your work and confirming that the manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere.
5. Confirmation: After submission, you will receive an automated acknowledgment and a manuscript ID for tracking.

Peer Review and Publication Timeline

JEPA employs a doubleblind peerreview process to ensure impartial evaluation. Typically, the review cycle proceeds as follows:

• Initial screening: The editorial office checks the manuscript for scope, formatting, and plagiarism.
• Reviewer assignment: Two to three experts in the relevant field are invited to review.

The average time from submission to first decision is 40 days, and from acceptance to online publication is about 30 days.
