Exploring extended chords, inversions, and voice leading techniques that will enhance your harmonic vocabulary.
Weeks 3-4
Advanced Fingerpicking
Building on basic fingerstyle patterns with more complex approaches including Travis picking, clawhammer, and percussive techniques.
Weeks 5-6
Modal and Scale Studies
Understanding and applying different scales and modes to create melodic interest in your playing.
Weeks 7-8
Genre Applications
Applying techniques to specific musical styles, including folk, blues, country, and contemporary pop.
Weeks 9-10
Songwriting Basics
Introduction to composing original material using the techniques you've learned throughout the course.
Weeks 11-12
Performance & Refinement
Focusing on polishing your pieces for performance and developing your personal style.
