The Individualized Education Program (IEP)

An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a cornerstone of special education in the United States. • Least Restrictive Environment (LRE): A statement regarding how the student will be educated alongside non-disabled peers to the maximum extent appropriate.

The Role of the IEP Team

Their input regarding their childs strengths, weaknesses, and history is invaluable.
