2. Purpose & Scope
Purpose: To define the standards, expectations, and processes that govern employment relationships within the organization.
Scope: Applies to all fulltime, parttime, temporary, and contract employees, as well as interns and volunteers, across every geographic location where the organization operates.
3. Employment Practices
3.1 Recruitment & Selection
- Job requisitions must be approved by the department head and HR before posting.

- Candidates are evaluated using predefined criteria; interview panels must contain at least two members.

5. Performance Management

Managers are encouraged to provide regular, constructive feedback; informal checkins are documented in the performance portal.
5.3 Formal Review Process
- Midyear and yearend performance appraisals are mandatory.
- Ratings determine eligibility for merit increases, promotions, and development opportunities.
6. Learning & Development
The organization invests in continuous learning. Employees are entitled to a minimum of 16 hours of approved training annually, subject to manager approval and budget availability.

7. Workplace Conduct

- Emergency evacuation routes are posted in each area; drills are conducted twice a year.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be used where required.
9. Separation & Termination
9.1 Voluntary Resignation
Employees should provide at least two weeks' written notice. Exit interviews are conducted to capture feedback.
9.2 Involuntary Termination
- Grounds for dismissal include performance failure, misconduct, redundancy, or breach of policy.
- Termination must be documented, reviewed by HR, and comply with local labor laws.
- Final pay, accrued vacation, and benefits information are provided on the last working day.
10. Record Keeping & Confidentiality
HR maintains personnel files in secure, accesscontrolled systems. Records are retained for the period required by law, after which they are securely destroyed.
Employees must protect confidential information, including personal data, trade secrets, and proprietary business information. Unauthorized disclosure may result in disciplinary action.
11. Policy Review & Updates
The manual is reviewed annually by the HR Compliance Committee. Updates are communicated via email and posted on the internal portal. Employees are required to acknowledge receipt of major changes within ten business days.
