Goethe Goes Global Scholarship

Overview

The Goethe Goes Global (GGG) Scholarship is an initiative of the Goethe-Institut in partnership with a network of German universities and cultural institutions. It offers highly motivated students from around the world the chance to study German language and culture in Germany, while also providing financial support for living expenses, travel, and tuition.

Since its launch in 2018, the program has helped over 1,200 scholars experience academic life in Germany, develop intercultural competence, and build lasting professional networks.

  • Show proficiency in English (or the language of instruction at the host university).
  • Exhibit genuine interest in German language, culture, or related fields.
  • Commit to returning to their home country after the scholarship period.
