Environmental Sciences and Humanities Institute

Bridging Scientific Discovery with Human Understanding

About the Institute

Established in 2005, the Environmental Sciences and Humanities Institute (ESHI) stands at the forefront of interdisciplinary environmental studies. Our institute brings together scientists, humanists, and social scientists to address the complex environmental challenges of our time.

We believe that effective environmental solutions require both scientific knowledge and humanistic insight. Our work spans climate science, environmental philosophy, indigenous environmental knowledge, sustainability studies, environmental literature, policy analysis, and ecological ethics.

Our graduates go on to careers in environmental policy, conservation, education, research, advocacy, and sustainable development. Through our partnerships with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and industry leaders, we ensure our research has tangible impacts on environmental practices and policies.
