Emergency Services Camp

Adventure, Learning, and Teamwork for Kids 912

Why This Camp?

Kids love superheroes, fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances. Our Emergency Services Camp turns that excitement into realworld knowledge. Over a week of handson activities, campers discover how firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and rescue teams keep communities safe. They develop confidence, problemsolving skills, and a respect for publicservice careersall while having a blast.

Who Can Join?

The camp is designed for children ages 9 to 12. No prior experience is neededjust curiosity, a sense of adventure, and a willingness to work with peers.

Camp Highlights

  • Firefighter Experience: Slide down a simulated fire pole, explore a miniature fire station, and practice using a hose to put out burning obstacles.
  • Police & Community Safety: Learn basic fingerprinting, solve a mockcrime mystery, and practice safe crossing techniques.
  • EMT Basics: Dress in a kidsize rescue uniform, practice bandaging a wound, and discover how to call 911 correctly.
  • Search & Rescue: Navigate a simple obstacle course using a map and compass, and work together to locate hidden survivors.
