What We Do
The Canadian Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides immediate relief and longterm recovery support when disasters strike. From wildfires in British Columbia to floods in Quebec, the RedCross mobilises volunteers, staff, and resources to help Canadians rebuild lives and restore communities.
Our core mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies. We work closely with local authorities, Indigenous partners, and community groups to ensure that help reaches those who need it most, as quickly and safely as possible.
