Overview
Don Bosco School Park Circus has a long tradition of promoting reading habits among its students. Each academic year a curated book list is prepared for classes IX, based on the CBSE curriculum, the schools valueeducation program, and the interests of the children. The 202122 list reflects the latest revisions in the syllabus, adds fresh titles that nurture creativity, and introduces a few crosscultural books to broaden perspectives.
The list is divided into three categories:
- Core Academic Books textbooks and reference material required for board examinations.
- Supplementary Reading story books, biographies, and poetry that support language development.
- Enrichment & Activity Books puzzles, experiments, and projectwork guides.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to procure the books from authorized vendors to ensure that the correct editions are purchased. The school also runs a small library where a handful of these titles can be borrowed.
