About the Department
The Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition is dedicated to improving human health by integrating the science of movement with the science of food. Our interdisciplinary approach equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to address modern health challenges, from obesity and chronic disease to performance optimization for athletes.
Founded in 1998, the department has grown into a vibrant community of researchers, educators, and practitioners. We collaborate with local health centers, sports teams, and industry partners to ensure that our curriculum remains relevant and impactful.
