Once you receive the offer letter, follow these steps:

Scan the signed document into a PDF.
Upload the PDF to your school's International Student portal or provide it directly to the DSO.
The DSO will then update your SEVIS record with the CPT authorization.

Missing dates or hours: Without clear start/end dates and weekly hour count, the DSO cannot approve CPT.
Unrelated job duties: The work must be directly tied to your major; vague descriptions can cause denial.
