About Us

Biotech Connection Bay Area (BCBA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration and innovation in the biotechnology sector across the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 2015 by a group of biotechnology professionals and entrepreneurs, BCBA has grown into a vibrant community connecting over 5,000 scientists, engineers, business professionals, and investors.

The Bay Area is home to the world's most concentrated biotechnology ecosystem, featuring world-class research institutions, innovative startups, and industry leaders. BCBA serves as the central hub bringing these diverse stakeholders together to share knowledge, create partnerships, and advance the field of biotechnology.
