About the Association of Camp Nurses
The Association of Camp Nurses (ACN) is a professional organization dedicated to supporting registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other qualified healthcare professionals who work in the unique environment of summer camps, youth retreats, and outdoor education programs. Founded in 1995, ACN provides a network for sharing best practices, continuing education, advocacy, and resources tailored to the challenges of delivering health care in camp settings.

Membership
ACN welcomes anyone who plays a role in camp health care, including:
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVNs)
- Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
- Physicians who serve as medical directors
- Firstaid volunteers and emergency medical technicians
