Submission Guidelines

We welcome original research articles, comprehensive review papers, technical notes, and case studies that significantly contribute to the advancement of engineering and technology. To ensure efficient processing and maintain high publication standards, please follow the guidelines below:

Types of Submissions

Research Articles (6,000-8,000 words)

Original contributions reporting significant research findings with appropriate methodology, analysis, and conclusions. These should clearly state the research problem, methodology, results, and implications.

Review Articles (8,000-10,000 words)

Comprehensive surveys of specific research domains, providing critical analysis and synthesizing existing literature to identify trends, gaps, and future directions.

Technical Notes (2,000-4,000 words)

Brief communications describing novel techniques, methodologies, or applications that may not warrant a full research article but provide value to the research community.

Case Studies (4,000-6,000 words)

Real-world applications of engineering or technology solutions that provide insights into implementation challenges and outcomes.

Submission Process

1
Prepare your manuscript: Follow our template and formatting guidelines. Include an abstract of 150-250 words and 5-7 keywords.
2
Submit electronically: Use our online submission system to upload your manuscript, figures, and tables with all author information complete.
3
Peer review process: Your manuscript will undergo a double-blind review by at least two experts in the field, typically taking 6-8 weeks.
4
Revision: Based on reviewer feedback, you may be asked to revise your manuscript. Address all comments with a response letter.
5
Final acceptance: Once approved, your article will be scheduled for publication and immediately made available online.
Important: All submissions must be original work not previously published or under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism checks are performed on all manuscripts using iThenticate software.

Open Access Policy

AASRJETS is committed to open access principles as a means to accelerate scientific discovery and knowledge sharing. We believe that research should be freely available to all, without barriers to access, to maximize its impact on both academia and society.

Benefits of Open Access

  • Greater Visibility: Open access articles are typically cited more frequently than those behind paywalls, increasing the impact and recognition of your research.
  • Broader Reach: Your work becomes accessible to researchers worldwide, including those in developing countries and industry practitioners who may not have access to subscription-based journals.
  • Funding Compliance: Many funding agencies now require grantees to make their research openly available, and publishing in our journal helps satisfy these requirements.
  • Author Retention: Authors retain copyright to their work under a Creative Commons license, allowing broader distribution and reuse with proper attribution.

Publication Charges

To support the journal's open access publication model and cover the costs of peer review, editing, production, hosting, and archiving, we charge an article processing fee (APC) of $1,750. The APC is due upon acceptance of the manuscript.

Waivers and Discounts: Waivers and discounts (up to 50%) are available for researchers from low- and lower-middle-income economies as classified by the World Bank, as well as for cases of demonstrated financial hardship. Additionally, we offer discounted APCs to members of certain partner professional organizations.

Licensing

All articles published in AASRJETS are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license allows users to share and adapt the work for any purpose, including commercial use, as long as appropriate credit is given to the original author and source.
