Constitution and Bylaws
We, the members of Alpha Kappa Rho, in order to establish a just and honorable organization, promote unity and solidarity among members, provide for efficient governance, and ensure the perpetuation of our noble traditions and principles, do hereby adopt and establish this Constitution and Bylaws.
Section 1. The name of this organization shall be Alpha Kappa Rho (also known as AKRho).

Section 1. A chapter may be dissolved only by a three-fourths vote of all regular members, subject to approval by the National Council.
Section 2. In the event of dissolution, all properties and assets shall be transferred to the National Council or a charitable institution designated by the National Council.
Section 3. No member shall receive any portion of the assets of the chapter upon dissolution.
This Constitution and Bylaws, having been approved by the requisite majority of the National Convention, shall be the supreme law of Alpha Kappa Rho and shall supersede all previous constitutions and bylaws. This document shall take effect immediately upon ratification.
