Overview
The 2019 Sonoma County 4H Fashion Revue was a celebration of creativity, community, and youth leadership. History of the 4H Fashion Revue
The Sonoma County Fashion Revue began in 2005 as a modest showcase of homemade garments crafted by 4H participants. Over the years, it has evolved into a polished production featuring professional lighting, sound, and choreography. The events growth mirrors the broader expansion of 4Hs emphasis on entrepreneurship and learn by doing.

More than 120 contestants entered the competition, ranging from elementaryschool Juniors (ages 912) to Seniors (ages 1518). Notable participants included:
- Aiden Rivera (Junior) Created a playful Vineyard Picnic dress using handdyed organic cotton.
- Sophie Patel (Senior) Presented a sleek, avantgarde coat constructed from reclaimed denim and winebottle corks.
- Family Team The Woolens A motherdaughter duo who knit a collection of knitwear featured in the Cozy California line.
Judges from the local fashion industry evaluated each piece on originality, craftsmanship, sustainability, and how well the design reflected the theme Harvest & Harmony. The Peoples Choice Award was won by the Sunset Vineyard collection, a flowing maxidress line that incorporated handpainted silk scarves depicting Sonoma sunsets.
Impact on the Community
The 2019 Fashion Revue reinforced 4Hs mission to develop confident, skilled, and communityoriented youth. Specific outcomes included:
